SO... I just wanted to share an awesome deal I got the other day. I was browsing the clearance section at Michaels and found a cute scrapbook for $6 so I thought I would get it since I have been able to get a lot done all the time I have at the moment.

I slide my card and she asks if I have a penny and I am like why, she says it is .01 cent! I am SHOCKED............ ONE CENT?

Well, of course I had to go back and get some more!! She said they were discontinued and thats why they were so cheap. AWESOME!!

I also just have to say how much I LOVE this ice cream. It is Amazing!!

Thats all.

5 YEARS!

We celebrated our 5th year anniversary over the weekend! I can't believe it has been that long...not that it is LONG, but you know! I love my husband more than anything and I know that I will always be happy as long as he is around.

We had a wonderful CELEBRATION where we said "Happy Anniversary, I LOVE YOU"! And that was about all we could afford. Best Ever.

BUT, we found out that same day that Adam got a JOB! He is the newest member of the Horticulture dept. in the Venetian. WOOT WOOT!! We are WAY WAY excited! I am hoping this means free Blue Man tickets...haha.

I am so proud of him. He has worked really hard and been through a lot. We were really BLESSED to have gotten a job so quickly here. We couldn't find one for 6 months in Dallas and we are given a great one within 2 weeks of being here. The Lord has His hands in all things. We are grateful for all we have learned.

We had a BBQ for family night and it was so much FUN!!
This was the 1st Marshmallow turner....the more mallows the better...
But then he found THIS...the fire was too HOT...this worked well!!
I tried to use this TREE...but I couldn't get it...darn it

Adam ran up the hill to explore...so of course the other 2 had to so they wouldn't be shown up, they just didn't move as quickly!

Fabulous Las Vegas!

So, we finally made it to VEGAS. It was quite the trip! It was hard to leave all our good friends in Texas but we know that this is where we need to be now. FUN times were had there though that is for sure! We had water volleyball tournaments, we went to a youth activity at the water park(we always enjoy the youth activities more than the youth) and got in trouble for being too rowdy in the lazy river, yard sales, games etc.

One really awesome thing that happened before we left was our truck got ran into...in our parking lot...by a guy on a motorcycle...days before we had to leave...GREAT!

I was driving behind the guy and saw him run into it. I was in shock. I quickly got out expecting to call 911 b/c he busted is head open. He was up and I asked if he was ok and he said yeah so then I said well you ran into my TRUCK! He said oh man. Uh, yeah! So I went to get Adam and show him the damage. THe guy just about took off the bumper. Then the neighbor came out and was wondering what happened and I pointed to the front bumper of her REALLY nice BMW where it was all mashed in and then I pointed at the motorcycle guy(he did it)! It was not a good day.

Whats really great is the guy was test riding the bike and the bike owner has NO insurance, so of course the ins. company decides to go with the guy who has no insurance and we have to pay for it! We were rushing the insurance b/c we had to move and kind of have to have a bumper that can pull a trailer and the guy says, "well Mr. Kelley you really shouldn't schedule your moving dates around mechanic repairs." Ha ha! What an idiot. Adam tells him that we did not PLAN on our truck getting ran into RIGHT before we have to leave.

Well, now we have a shiny new bumper! It came late but with the help of my parents and our good friend Scott Crappa we were able to get everything ready for the big move. It was nice having my parents with us to give us company and trade off drivers. We stopped at some amazing ANTIQUE stores! And we just HAD to stop in Pecos Texas and get their famous cantelopes! It was fun.

Lets try this again...

So...our other site is messed up right now and I was tired of waiting so I made a new one here! Hopefully it will make it easier. It has been so long since I have written and there is too much to say. So I will just throw this one out there...we are moving to Las Vegas! Sin City here we come. Get the poker tables and slot machines ready! We get to move back in with my parents! I asked my mom if we could move in and told her it would probably only be until we are 30 or so...which is actually no joke b/c it is coming up soon! Adam was laid off from his job a few months ago so life threw us a curve ball. But it was actually a blessing in disguise. Unfortunately we have nothing in Texas to allow us to stay, except an awesome ward that we have grown to love. We feel that we have more opportunities in Las Vegas. We will miss Texas though! We had an amazing lightening storm that we saw. We were at this little Beatles tribute concert and the lightening was right above us, so close that my hair was standing up. We were crazy!

I had girls camp this past week and it was a blast! I built a bond with my young women that I could have in no other way. We went swimming in the nasty lake and climed this huge ice berg to slide on! It was awesome. I was one of the only leaders that could do it so I am pretty proud of myself! Most of the time everyone thought I was one of the girls and not a leader, which is flattering the first couple of times but then I am just like do I not act like a leader! I guess thats why I enjoy being with them so much! I could have done with-out all the girl drama though, sheesh! It was a good experience and I love seeing their testimonies grow.

Wrestling was one of their funniest memories of camp! I don't get it.

That is me on top the iceberg hanging on for dear life! I screamed a lot up there.

We are so awesome. We got the Spirit stick!

Also, a few weeks ago we got to visit Adam's family in Georgia! It was so much fun! We went to the Braves game and we went to Stone Mountain and watched the laser show in the rain...it was crazy but fun! The best part was being able to be with the whole family though. We were able to be there for Solena's baby blessing, our newest niece. It was so special. The boys played PLENTY of ping pong. It was a blast!

Thats us in the rain watching the laser show. We don't back down for nothin'!

Me with my bestest bud Cole! I have the cutest nephews and nieces!

Their reactions to the fireworks at the Braves game.

I finally got this to work! This is a cute video of my nephew in Georgia!
